Online Orders
Which payment methods do you accept for online purchases?
We offer secure card payment with Visa, Amex, Mastercard and Diners Club. No card fees apply.
Can I cancel or change my order?
If you wish to make any changes to your order before it’s despatched, please contact our customer service team at customerservice@carpediembeds.co.uk
Please note that the right of withdrawal does not apply to products that are made to order.
What countries do you deliver to?
We currently deliver to UK, Ireland, Sweden and Denmark.

What delivery options do you offer?
Accessories
Free UK delivery when you spend 100 GBP or over. There will be a 25 GBP shipping fee for orders under 100 GBP. We deliver accessories with FedEx or Schenker/GLS, depending on the parcel specifics, and will notify you when your parcel is ready to leave our workshop in Rydaholm, Sweden. Accessories are delivered from Sweden within 7-10 days.
Deliveries outside the UK may incur additional fees, which will be communicated to you before the order is placed.
Beds, Headboards, Mattresses, Tables & Toppers
Beds and larger accessories (such as mattresses, furniture, etc.) are delivered by one of our selected carriers. Below, you will find our different delivery options.
Standard Delivery
The home delivery option suits mattress toppers, bedroom furniture, and bulky accessories. Not suitable for beds as this requires additional manual handling.
Silver Delivery
When your bed has arrived at a local terminal, you will be contacted by our delivery partner to decide upon the time and date of your delivery. You will then be contacted approximately 30 minutes prior to the carrier arriving at your home (in accordance with the agreed time and date). Two (2) people will carry in the bed to the specified room and assemble the bed for you.
Gold Delivery
When your bed has arrived at a local terminal, you will be contacted by our delivery partner to decide upon the time and date of your delivery. You will then be contacted approximately 30 minutes prior to the carrier arriving at your home (in accordance with the agreed time and date). Two (2) people will carry the bed to the room that you desire and assemble the bed/beds for you and then dispose of your old bed (please note that the disposal pertains only to the bed (including mattresses), not to headboards or other bedroom furniture).
When can I expect delivery of my online order?
Delivery time for our beds, headboards, and mattress toppers is approximately 8 - 10 weeks.
Delivery time for other products is approximately 5 - 10 days, depending on the product, and provided we have the item in stock in our workshop in Sweden.
Exchange & Returns (Accessories)
I've changed my mind. Can I return my order?
You have the right to cancel your purchase within 14 days from the date your products have been delivered. If you want to return your order, please contact us at customerservice@carpediembeds.co.uk Please note that the products must be sent back to us at the latest within 14 days from when you notify us thereof.
How to return your order
1. Notify us about your return by sending an email to customerservice@carpediembeds.co.uk
2. Make sure the product is unused and have all product labels and tags attached.
3. Pack your product in the original packaging as a postal parcel or letter.
4. Fill in the return note included in your shipment with details of what you are returning.
5. Use the return shipping label that comes with your delivery.
6. Send your package within 14 days from when you notfied us about the return.
You are also welcome to return products to our store. To make a return in store, you need to show a valid receipt or other documentation of the purchase.
The right to cancel a purchase does not apply to items that are specifically made for you, so-called “made-to-order” products. As these goods are custom-made according to your specifications (including with respect to choices of colour and materials), which means that we cannot issue a right of withdrawal for these specific goods.
The right of withdrawal does not apply to goods with broken seals that cannot be properly returned for health or hygiene reasons. This exception includes, for example, duvets, pillows, towels, mattress covers, bed (top) mattresses, duvet covers, pillowcases, sheets and similar products. If a product of this kind has been sealed, you must not break the seal in order to exercise your right of withdrawal. However, if the seal is unbroken, you have the right to cancel your purchase as described above.

When will I receive my refund?

Can I return or exchange a bed I purchased?
At Carpe Diem Beds, we manufacture handmade beds with accessories that are specifically made for you, so-called “made-to-order” products. As these goods are custom-made according to your specifications (including with respect to choices of colour and materials), which means that we cannot issue a right of withdrawal for these specific goods.

What guarantee comes with your beds?
We give you the possibility to claim for frame and spring breakage up to 25 years after you bought the product, and up to 10 years for motor breakdown when buying our adjustable beds.

How often should I change my top mattress?
We recommend replacing your top mattress very 5-7 years.
How do I find the right bed for me?
The ideal bed and mattress differ greatly from person to person. Finding the right fit involves considering factors such as your sleeping position, body type, support needs, overall comfort preferences, and more. In our stores, our bed experts offer personalised consultations to help you discover the perfect bed tailored to your individual needs.
What materials are used for your beds?
Quality begins with raw materials and craftsmanship. Our beds are built with top-tier raw materials like slow-growth Nordic pine, Talalay latex, organic cotton, and fabrics from renown textile brands like Kvadrat, Designers Guild and The Romo Group.
Stores
Which beds are on display in your stores?
Our flagship stores have all our bed models available, but we always recommend contacting the store and dealer to check which models are on display.
Can I purchase a bed directly from the store?
All our beds are made to order. You can place an order for any of our beds in-store.
On special occasions, we offer sales on store display models. Sign up for our newsletter to receive the latest information on our sales.
Can I see fabric and material samples in your stores?
Our stores feature samples of all our fabrics and materials, allowing you to see and feel them to make the best choice for your bed.
