How to Take Care of Your Bed
During sleep, your body releases heat and moisture. That’s why it’s important to let your bed breathe each morning.
Tips:
• Pull back the duvet when you wake up.
• Leave the bed unmade for 20–30 minutes.
• Ensure good bedroom ventilation.
This helps reduce moisture buildup and prevents dust mites in your mattress.
Bed linen collects sweat, dead skin cells, and bacteria.
To maintain good hygiene:
• Change sheets every 1–2 weeks.
• Wash more frequently if you have allergies or have been ill.
Fresh bedding improves both hygiene and sleep quality.
A mattress protector is one of the simplest ways to extend the life of your mattress.
Benefits:
• Protects against stains and spills.
• Reduces dust and allergens.
• Easier to wash than the mattress itself.
A washable mattress protector keeps your mattress clean and well-preserved over time.
To extend the lifespan of your mattress topper, we recommend rotating (reversing) the position of the mattress. This should be done once or twice a year.
If you have two mattresses lying beside one another and often lie in the joint between them, the elastic core may become stretched, forming a gap. If this occurs, swap the position of the mattresses (if they have the same firmness). If the firmness of the beds differs, reverse them (it can be good to do this on a regular basis). This allows the feathers to revert to their original position and better retain their comfort.

Mattresses and upholstered bed components can be cleaned with a suitable textile cleaner.
Tips:
• Lightly brush the surface with a soft upholstery brush to remove dust.
• Vacuum the bed carefully. Hard vacuuming can damage delicate fibres.
• Spot clean spills with cold water and mild detergent.
• Allow the mattress to air dry completely.
• Always follow the care instructions for your specific fabric.
Properly fitted bed legs are essential for stability, comfort, and noise reduction.
Tips:
• Ensure all bed legs are securely tightened to prevent movement.
• Check fittings regularly, as legs may loosen over time.
• Retighten if you notice creaking or squeaking sounds.
Adjustable beds combine comfort with advanced mechanics. While the mattress should be maintained in the same way as any other bed, the integrated moving parts and electrical components require additional care.
It is normal for some sound to occur when adjusting the bed. However, regular maintenance will help ensure smooth, quiet operation over time.
• Check that all components are properly assembled and functioning as intended.
• Avoid sitting on the head or foot section when the bed is raised, as this puts unnecessary strain on the mechanism.
• Clean remote controls and electrical components with a dry or slightly damp cloth only. Never expose electrical parts to excess moisture or water.
