2.1 We collect and process your name, address, telephone number, email, and IP address that you submit in order to keep you informed about Carpe Diem Beds.

2.2 We also collect and process your name, address, telephone number, email, and IP address as well as contact and delivery details as well as financial information concerning your online product payments when you submit it (a) as part of your account details and/or (b) in connection with your requests for, or purchase of, products on our website.

2.3 In addition to the abovementioned use and purposes, we may also use your personal data to administrate and improve this website, for our internal records, for statistical analysis and to complete your product orders and/or to contact you regarding sales and as a part of our customer relation procedures.

2.4 Some information that we ask you to provide is mandatory and purpose is to ensure our functionalities work while navigating the site and adding products to the cart. The consequence of not providing this information is that the site can not function. This information is not personal and only related to on-site behaviour.

3.2 The processing of your personal data for purposes 2.2 in section 2 above is also based on the fact that the processing it necessary for us to be able to fulfil an agreement with you should you choose to purchase any products or services on our website.

4.1 We have implemented appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against loss, unlawful access, etc. The number of persons with access to your personal data is limited and only individuals associated with Hilding Anders Sweden AB that need to process your personal data will have access to your personal data.

4.2 We will share your personal data with companies within the Hilding Anders Group to be able to complete orders and optimise the online experience. We will also share your personal data with suppliers and partners that carry out services on our behalf such as Shopify our webstore platform provider, Voyado AB for email correspondence and Omnium for system integration with inventory and production and Adyen for completing payments. And courier services to delivery your order.

5. FOR HOW LONG IS YOUR PERSONAL DATA STORED?

We store the personal data as long as it is necessary to fulfil the purpose for which the personal data has been collected. This means that we delete your personal data when such data is no longer necessary to process a request, an order or to administrate your account or our client relationship. Statistics which have been anonymised may be saved thereafter.

You are entitled to have incorrect personal data regarding you corrected, and in some cases you may request that we delete your personal data (if, for example, the personal data is no longer necessary in order to fulfil an agreement with you). If you have given your consent to processing of your personal data for an explicit purpose you may always withdraw your consent. If you want to withdraw your consent, you may contact us through the contact information provided in Section 6.3. You also have the right to object to certain processing of your personal data, and request that the processing of your personal data be limited. Please note that limitation or deletion of your personal data may result in us not being able to fulfil our obligations under an agreement with you. You are also entitled to extract your personal data in a machine-readable format and to transfer the personal data to another controller.

    10. CARPE DIEM BEDS ACTION IN GOOGLE HOME PRIVACY POLICY

    Please see below for information regarding the use of our Carpe Diem Beds’ application developed by LINAK A/S, for the use of our adjustable beds. Carpe Diem Beds has implemented this privacy policy (the “Privacy Policy”) for the Carpe Diem Beds Action in Google Home (the “Carpe Diem Beds Action”). The Privacy policy explains how Carpe Diem Beds processes your personal data when you use the Action.

    To use the “Carpe Diem Beds Action” you have to download the Vindö with Voice Control App (the “App”) which will provide connectivity between your bed and Google Home, so that you can use the Carpe Diem Beds Action to control your bed via voice control.

    Data Controller Carpe Diem Beds will store and process your data in accordance with applicable data privacy law and in a secure manner.

    Carpe Diem Beds encourages you to read the Privacy Policy in its entirety so you can understand how it will process your data and for which purpose.

    Legal Ground for processing The legal ground for our processing of your personal data is your consent which you provide when you first start using the App. If you at any time would like to withdraw your consent you can do so by deleting your access to the App.

    The Data we collect from you We will only collect and process personal data you yourself provide in the App, this data is as follows:

    - Your name, - Your email address, and - Your individual bed ID.

    Further we will process data which is generated from your use of the App for example your saved positions, automatic drive settings, connectivity and integration with third party products. The information collected and data created with such information is only meant to make your use of your bed more pleasant.

    Retention We will store and process your personal data for as long as you are using the App. If you delete your user account or you do not use your user account for a period of at least 18 months, we will delete your personal data and stop processing of such data.

    Where we store your data The data that we collect you is stored within the European Economic Area (“EEA”) but may also be transferred to and processed in a country outside the EEA. Any such transfer of your personal data will be carried out in compliance with applicable data protection laws.

    Whom we share your data with When you use the Carpe Diem Beds Action, we will share data on unique identifiers of your bed with Google LLC, to trigger connectivity between your bed and Google Home. However, this data will be shared on an anonymised basis, i.e. Google will not be able to identify you as a person based on this data alone.

    We will not share any other data we collect from you through the App with any third parties.

    Protection of your personal data The App Provider has taken appropriate technical and operational security precautions to protect your data from being accidentally or intentionally manipulated, lost, destroyed, or accessed by unauthorised persons. Our security measures are reviewed regularly. The App Provider will update these measures in order to keep up with technological advances.

    Your Rights, contact information and complaints You as a data subject have the following rights:

    - The right to request information about personal data the App Provider holds on you; - The right to get a copy of your data transferred to you; - The right to request rectification of your personal data; and - The rights to request that data is erased by the App Provider.

    The App Provider takes the protection of your data and you rights seriously, if you have comments or questions related to how the App Provider processes your personal data or if you want to access, update, amend, or erase any of your personal data, you can contact the App Provider. Further you also have the right to raise a complaint to the local data protection authority.

     

    11. CARPE DIEM BEDS SKILL IN AMAZON ALEXA PRIVACY POLICY

    Please see below for information regarding the use of our Carpe Diem Beds' application developed by LINAK A/S, for the use of our adjustable beds. Carpe Diem Beds has implemented this privacy policy (the “Privacy Policy”) for the Carpe Diem Beds Skill in Amazon Alexa (the “Carpe Diem Beds Skill”). The Privacy policy explains how Carpe Diem Beds processes your personal data when you use the Carpe Diem Beds Skill.

    To use the “Carpe Diem Beds Skill” you have to download the Vindö with Voice Control App (the “App”) which will provide connectivity between your bed and Amazon Alexa, so that you can use the Carpe Diem Beds Skill to control your bed via voice control.

    Description of usage Use Alexa to adjust your Carpe Diem Beds Skill-powered comfort bed. This Skill supports the Vindö bed’s advanced dual actuator systems as well as LA18 IC advanced. The Skill works via a Wi-Fi box (WiFi2LIN001) connecting the bed to the internet.

    Features available via the Carpe Diem Beds Control Skill:

    - Control up to four favourite positions of your Vindö bed (set in the Carpe Diem Beds App). - Move your Vindö bed to flat position. - Turn Under Bed Light ON and OFF. - Turn massage ON and OFF (if supported by your bed system).
